Affected by Flooding This Winter? Let King County Know

At our April 20, 2023 meeting, Chrys Bertolotto from King County presented information on King County's Flood Plan. They are going to expand their planning to shoreline flooding, which we need on Vashon-Maury! Feb 9, 2024 Update: Public comment period for King County’s Draft Flood Plan is open now through March 15, 2024

The draft King County Flood Management Plan is now available for public comment on the King County Engagement Hub.

King County is in the final stages of updating its Flood Plan and is offering another opportunity to help shape the strategy that will better prepare our region for more frequent, severe flooding expected to occur due to climate change.

The 45-day comment period closes on Friday, Mar. 15, 2024, at 5 p.m. (PT). Comments submitted will inform development of the final plan. Instructions for submitting comments are provided on the engagement hub.
