Community Council Meeting of The Community and Members

Please join us for our April 18th Community Council meeting. 

Highlights for this meeting:

Join us at 6:30 for snacks and networking before the meeting. The meeting runs from 7-9pm. Highlights:

• Kick off Spring with an update from the Vashon Island Growers Assn, Catherine Johnson  will give and update and answer questions. 
• Unincorporated King County Economic Alliance  program  - Anjilee Dodge will give and update and answer questions.
• The PSE Advisory Committee will give an Update and answer questions
• We will vote on a motion to support Islanders for Ferry Action 
• We will vote on a motion to include bonus densities for less than 100% affordable housing in the Comprehensive Plan
• We will introduce and vote on a new board member!
• Kevin Jones will give an update on the 2024 legislative session results. (We sent a resolution supporting key actions)
