Our initiative started in 2019 as a way to motivate our Vashon Island community to work on the climate crisis for the sake of our children and their future. The WVP vision has been to inspire other communities to  take on similar sorts of commitments: “Our Community, Standing up to the Climate Crisis with Creativity and Hope!”
