Island residents may wish to share input with King County on two items:


1) County Budget input (Transit; Natural Resources & Parks; Roads & Local Services). 


Next Week! King County is accepting public input as part of the 2025–26 budget process.

2) Comprehensive Plan schedule update 


King County is taking comments on a proposed ordinance to start the “scope of work” phase for the 2029 Midpoint Comprehensive Plan update six months earlier. This is a process/timeline change; it does not set policy. 


📅Submit your comments by Friday, October 17, 2025 by emailing CompPlan@kingcounty.gov.  Additional ways to comment can be found here.
