Motion passed: Letter of Support for DNR Grant Application

At our Council meeting held on May 21, 2026, the council approved a letter of support for the Washington State Department of Natural Resources (WA DNR) Estuary and Salmon Restoration Program grant application to protect and restore eelgrass in Quartermaster Harbor.

This project combines removal of debris, a physical barrier to eelgrass recovery, with a

synthesis of environmental data to identify and prioritize mitigation of stressors limiting

eelgrass recovery.
